Douglas Garrison was born in the Yakima Valley and chose to return to the valley after law school. He focuses on Administrative, Criminal, Civil, and personal injury law. Growing up in the Yakima Valley, Doug started out cutting asparagus before school hours and worked in the family orchard after school. Earning a pilot's license at age 18, he attended a trade school and is a licensed aircraft mechanic. Attending
Yakima Valley Community College and Washington State University, he is a history major and an avid reader with a growing collection of American history books. Doug went through the Army ROTC program and was commissioned a Regular Army Officer in the Army Signal Corp. He served 8 years in Kentucky, Georgia, Oklahoma and Ft Lewis Washington. Practicing law is a challenge, and is quite rewarding, he says and he intends to stay in the valley, which is a traditionally an underserved area.
